Особливості Ментальності, Етнічної Культури Та Психології Представників Азербайджанського Етносу

Abstract

This article «Features of mentality, ethnic culture and psychology of representatives of the Azerbaijani ethnos» analyzes the characteristics of students -representatives of the Azerbaijani ethnic group as members of intercultural contact. Data of international organizations on the current assessment of the state of Azerbaijanis and place among other nations of the world and the major ethno-psychological and communicative characteristics were given. An analysis of the main features of the psyche of representatives of the Turkic peoples, to which the Azerbaijanis belong, was conducted. The characteristics of the ideology of Azerbaijanism, which consolidates the peoples of this country for the sake of building their own independent state, were presented. The main features of the national character of Azerbaijanis, such as a heightened sense of national dignity, self-esteem, self-esteem, respect for national traditions and habits, propensity for generic cohesion and responsibility, were named. For the most part, they are representatives of the choleric and sanguine type, which are characterized by explosive emotionality, heightened sensitivity to other people's actions and thoughts, a pronounced desire for self-representation and self-reliance. They are active, initiative, persevering in achieving their goals. Among the shortcomings of the character of Azerbaijanis is the tendency to too quick conclusions and judgments, which are often made hastily. Psychologists warn about the need to take into account their heightened emotionality, which, under the conditions of a multi-ethnic group, can lead to unforeseen conflicts, because Azerbaijanis are inclined to resolve issues "from positions of strength." In dealing with them, trust, friendly attitude and compassion can be achieved much more than by pressure and coercion. The materials of the article can be used by teachers who work with Azerbaijani students and facilitate the achievement of success in educational and educational work for the sake of the latter's entry into a new language and culture for them
