This report gives the results of a survey among LERU members, conducted by the Public Infrastructure Taskforce (PIT), a working group under auspices of LERU’s Open Science Ambassadors (https://www.leru.org). The PIT has explored what universities can do in establishing a public infrastructure to promote open access to all kinds of academic output, also including FAIR data and teaching materials, while preserving digital sovereignty.
