Remarks. C. exilipalpis is the second species of the genus Capillogryllus, with a female specimen as holotype. Compared with C. dolabripalpis, this species is larger in size, median ocellus oval, and the end section of the maxillary palpi approximately rod-like, and distinctly shorter than the third segment. Compared with C. spinae sp. nov., this species is blackish-red body and has wing buds in females.
