Intercrops of linseed & mustard and linseed & tomato were infested with different insect pests of which the mustard aphid, linseed gall midge, black aphid and tomato fruit borer showed significant differences in infestation levels in various intercrop situations. However, there was a significant downward trend of insect pest infestation in the intercrop combinations compared to the sole crops of preferred hosts.
