Distribution in Afghanistan: Kabul River.—General distribution: Baluchistan, Iran to upper Indus basin, Pakistan.—Habitat: This species occurs in streams with stone beds up to 1,800 –2,100 m altitude. It is a benthopelagic species mostly found along the sides of streams where the water is slow and transparent. Freshwater. Economic importance. No commercial importance. Conservation.
