The conference on “Pandemic Protagonists. Viral (Re)Actions in Pandemic and Corona Fictions” marked the culmination of a year of joint work on the eponymous edited volume Pandemic Protagonists published with transcript in April 2023 and represented another milestone in the research project Corona Fictions. On Viral Narratives in Times of Pandemics funded by the Austrian Science Fund FWF (P 34571-G).
