In this paper contemporary horizon of Urdu literary criticism has been viewed by a teacher who has been teaching criticism in different universities over a period of 4 decades. Though in these days we are focusing on the relationship of linguistics and criticism and theories of criticism yet this article has a view point inviting other perceptions to differ. We will welcome those dissenting views as well.
