On the basis of the results obtained on Maize Breeding Program realized at Zagatala RES (Regional Experimental Station) of RICH, to compare the physiological parameters of С4 plants (Zea maуs L.) leaf assimilating surface area, leaf area index, dry matter accumulation, chlorophyll content in leaves, yield structural elements and productivity were analyzed and the relationship between the studied parameters were established.
