Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) is universally recognized as a vital component of education. Early childhood care and education (ECCE) play important role in children's long-term development. Government of India initiates for the quality in ECCE in the form of policies, plans, constitutional amendments, acts, curriculum framework, and schemes etc. National Education Policy, 2020 is one of the steps towards it. In this Policy, Indian Government focused the immediate attainment of foundational literacy and numeracy for all children which become an urgent national mission. The purpose of this paper was to understand the nature of early childhood care and education (ECCE), Its National Curriculum Framework, System of Early-Childhood Education institutions, Anganwadi Centers, Teachers Qualifications & recruitment Process, Professional Development of Teachers, Pupil-Teacher ratio. The researcher has completed the Document Analysis of Draft of National Education Policy,2020.
