VIGNETA CA INSTRUMENT DE PREDARE ȘI ÎNȚELEGERE A TEORIILOR UTILIZATE ÎN EXPLICAREA FENOMENLOR ADMINISTRATIVE

Abstract

In the public administration field, many of the concepts and academic circumstances that are taken into account are perceived as being abstract, complex, and difficult. Considering this, this paper analyses the significant aspects of the vignette, as a methodological instrument in teaching and understanding the utilised theories in the explanation of administrative phenomena. We endorse the idea that the academic format in which the theoretic content is presented, is crucial for understanding a theory. Adequate usage of the vignette in the instructive-educative process can produce measurable and significant changes in the behaviour of the graduates enrolled in the public administration specialisation, this contributes equally, to both knowledge gathering and competence development. The significant value of the instrument is given by the fact that it facilitates the understanding of public administration theory and how it is applied in practical situations, which is derived from the reality of public administration. An example of a vignette and a practical way of its implementation is presented to depict the argument.
