These two species have no external differences. The male genitalia of B. takamukui differ from those of B. kuatunensis by the valva being narrower distally, the basally narrower medial costal process, the slightly smaller ventral diverticulum, and the absence of a medial row of small cornuti in vesica. The female genitalia of B. takamukui differ from those of B. kuatunensis by their slightly smaller corpus bursae without signum (in B. takamukui, the signum is present), and larger appendix bursae. Distribution. Endemic of Taiwan.
