The synonymy of this species with Chrysis calviensis Kusdas 1974 is possible. 7. Chrysis hydropica Abeille de Perrin 1878 Distribution. Spain, France, Italy. Balearic Islands (Linsenmaier 1968). 8. Chrysis lanceolata is considered a Western South European and Anatolian species, that moved west recently to reach Italy and Sardinia (Rosa & Soon 2012). As a consequence the presence in Mallorca should be a recent introduction. On the contrary we found Ch. lanceolata in Portugal (Oliveira et al. 2010) and Northwest Spain. Fifty-four individuals were captured by the Malaise traps operated by the Salamanca University since 1993 in the followings sites: Embalse de Saucelle (SA), 2001, 1 ex.; Vilaverde del Monte (Burgos) 2003, 6 exx.; Mieza el Carrascal (SA) 2004, 1 ex.; Santa Maria de Sando (SA), 2003, 1 ex.; Paredes de Escalona (ZA) 1999, 20 exx.; Portaje (Coria), 9 exx., 1999; Viana de Cega (VA), 2 exx., 1993 (González et al. 1998); Salto de Saucelles (SA), 1 ex., 1998 (González et al. 2000); Villarino de los Aires (SA), 2 exx. (Strumia et al. 2002), 1995; Herguijuela de la Sierra (SA), 2 exx., 2005; Valle Las Batuecas (SA), 1000 m, 5 exx. (Strumia et al. 2010), 2005; Sepulcro (SA), 4 exx., 2003. Chrysis lanceolata demonstrating the widespread distribution in the Iberian Region. Fenology. 1.VI, 1 ex.; 1.VIII, 1 ex. 10. Chrysis leachii Shuckard, 1837 Distribution. Europa, North Africa. Balearic Islands: Mallorca, Mal Pas, 2 km NW Alcudia, G. Reder leg. Fenology. 2.VI, 1 ♂, 1 ♀. 11. Chrysis mediadentata Linsenmaier 1951 Chrysis ignita var. mediadentata Linsenmaier 1951: 75. Balearic Islands: Mallorca (Navás, 1910), cited as Chrysis micans Rossi, 1790, identified by du Buysson. Note. Chrysis sexdentata Christ 1791 erroneously synonymized with Chrysis variegata Olivier 1791. The latter is a junior synonym of Euchroeus purpuratus (Fabricius 1787). 14.
