Abstract

This report gives an overview of the 5th Pan-European Thermal Atlas web map application and its first set of map layers showing the status-quo of the heat sector and energy efficiency potentials in the building, transport, and industry sectors. Since the report was written the atlas was upgraded to version 5.1 and a layer showing the energy saving potentials in residential and service-sector buildings was added. Until the next update, Peta 5.1 does not show the heat demand distribution based on HRE4 methods and data.
