Habitat. Intertidal, in estuarine river habitats, mangroves and nipa palms. Remarks. Although the colour of the specimen in this study (Fig. 2B) is dark brown, much darker than the specimens studied by Osawa & Fujita (2008) and Rahayu & Setyadi (2009), the morphological characters agree well with the description of the species. This is the first report of this species from the Philippines.
