A network of 10 field experiments was built across Europe (7 countries) covering a range of pedo- climatic conditions and different farming systems: arable and vegetable systems both under conventional and organic management. The diversified cropping systems will be assessed thanks to standardized measurements across the network and multi-criteria assessment tools. Decision rules concerning the design of the diversified cropping system and their management will be also recorded to make it easier to help other diversification initiatives.
