(SIZK) Husiatyn Distr., Medobory State Nature Reserve, near Vikno, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 29.vi.1996; 1 spec. mature larva, (SIZK) Gusyatin Distr., Mt. Gostra, on Centaurea scabiosa, 49°21´22.7˝ N, 26°04´25.7˝ E, V. Yu. Nazarenko leg., 26.vi.2007. Biology. Meadows, shrublands in mountains and hills. Adults occur in V–VI, mating in IX–XI. On Centaurea spinulosa (Penecke 1928), C. scabiosa, C. pseudocoriacea. In vitro feeds on C. jacea and other Centaurea species (Asteraceae) (Nazarenko 2000).
