Convicción en la adversidad: Claves psicológicas del rendimiento deportivo bajo presión

Abstract

Resumen del artículo El artículo examina el papel de la autoconfianza como variable psicológica clave en el rendimiento deportivo bajo presión, a partir del análisis de dos remontadas ocurridas en las semifinales de la UEFA Champions League 2019: Liverpool frente a Barcelona y Tottenham frente a Ajax. El objetivo es identificar cómo la fortaleza mental y la convicción interna influyeron en la capacidad de los equipos para revertir marcadores adversos en contextos de alta exigencia competitiva. El trabajo adopta un enfoque analítico-descriptivo basado en aportes de la psicología del deporte y en el estudio comparado de ambos casos, integrando conceptos como resiliencia, manejo de la presión y entrenamiento psicológico. Asimismo, se incorpora una reflexión interpretativa desde la perspectiva de la esperanza y la perseverancia como valores asociados al afrontamiento de la adversidad. La relevancia del estudio radica en su contribución a la comprensión interdisciplinaria de los factores psicológicos que inciden en el desempeño deportivo de alto nivel.
