This codebase is a supplement to the publication Numerical calculation of the Hopf index for three-dimensional magnetic textures. This package provides Python implementations of the calculation of the Hopf index of the magnetisation texture for finite-difference micromagnetic simulations. The four methods implemented are twopointstencil, fivepointstencil, solidangle, and solidanglefourier. The package assumes NumPy arrays of the shape (Nx, Ny, Nz, 3), where Nx, Ny, Nz are the number of cells in the x-, y-, and z-directions respectively, and the final dimension is for the three components. It is assumed that the vector field is normalised. Please see the repository for further information.
| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 1 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
