Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Russia (north-west and centre of European part, East Siberia, Far East), Sweden, Switzerland. Remarks. Rhamphomyia (H.) culicina (R. (H.) flava group) is the only species of R. (Holoclera) with trans-Palaearctic distribution, extending to the east as far as Magadanskaya Province of Russia.
