Abstract

PRODUCTION INVENTORY OF AREA OF CULTURAL LAYER TO THE SOUTH FROM THE FIRST MEZHYRICHIAN DWELLING Upper Palaeolithic settlement Mezhyrich is well-known archaeological site excavations of which are providing since 1966 by different groups of researchers. By previous investigations on the territory of site were discovered 4 dwellings with using mammoth in the constructions and pits around each of them. At present the main attention gives to the exploring of different sections and objects connected with 1st and 2nd dwellings, such as work-shops, pits and parts of saturated cultural layer - so called “top- talische”. Among the objects that investigated last time is the section on the south of 1st dwelling - excavated in 1966 by I .G. Pidoplichko - the territory of high activity connected to the entrance area of dwelling. The article gives a characteristic of producing inventory that comes from this section and the main attention gives to flint artifacts. In the result of typological-statistic analysis the authors marks the bright difference between statistic data of materials that comes from the dwelling and from this part of “toptalische”. Assemblages from different objects of site demonstrate a certain diversity of main typological indexes that is the evidence of various kinds of activity carried out in different parts of the site. В данной статье представлены материалы последних исследований участка «топталища» относящегося к первому хозяйственно-бытовому комплексу верхнепалеолитической стоянки Межирич, основное внимание уделяется анализу кремневого инвентаря. This volume is mainly dedicated to the publication of materials that have been received during the studies of Upper Paleolithic sites, carried out within the framework of the international project of NUAS - RFBR "The Middle Dnipro cultural group: the contain and inter-cultural connections" № 07-06-12 (У) & № 12-06-90400-Укр-а. For researchers, graduate students and anyone interested in the problems of the Upper Paleolithic.
