
LITTLE BRONZE CUCKOO Chalcites minutillus # Range C. m. misoriensis Biak. Status Biak endemic subspecies. Long known only from the female holotype taken by Beccari in May 1875 at Korrido (Salvadori 1875). However, recently, there has been a few observations of this taxon. 26 August 2007: one in southern Biak (Bengtsson 2007); 20 July 2009: one near Warafri (H. Matheve, eBird checklist S64759629); 8 November 2017: one in central-south Biak (A. Walker, eBird checklist S46415300); 27 September 2018: five near Warafri (J. Mazenauer, eBird checklist S48773694).
