Remispora quadri-remis Kohlm.

Authors: Tibell, Sanja; Tibell, Leif; Pang, Ka-Lai; Jones, E. B. Gareth;

Remispora quadri-remis Kohlm.

Abstract

63. Remispora quadri-remis (Höhnk) Kohlm., Nova Hedwigia 2: 332 (1960) Substrate and distribution: Marine wood. Bohuslän and Medelpad. Notes: Reported by Henningsson (1974) as Halosphaeria quadri-remis (Höhnk) Kohlm. Henningsson was, however, not sure as to the distinction of this species versus Remispora stellata Kohlm., since she noted a variation in appendage number not consistent with the number diagnostic for these two species, viz. 4 vs. 6 at each apex.
