
Pristimantis pedimontanus (La Marca 2004) * Holotype: ULABG 3221. Type locality: Parque Nacional Chorro del Indio, 16. 5 km in road San Cristóbal-Macanilla, approx. 8 km SE of San Cristóbal, San Cristóbal municipality, Táchira State, Venezuela. Distribution: Region 1. Eastern slopes of Cordillera de Mérida, Andes of Venezuela. Remarks: Assigned to Pristimantis conspicillatus species group in original publication (La Marca 2004) and maintained in this group by Hedges et al. (2008). More recently, removed from P. conspicillatus species group and left unassigned to any species group by Padial et al. (2014). Selected references: La Marca (2004).
