
Aromobates leopardalis (Rivero 1978) * Holotype: UPRM 5157. Type locality: “ Mucubají, 3,300 m, Edo. Mérida, Venezuela.” Distribution: Region 1. Páramo and subpáramo habitat in Sierra Nevada, Merida State, 2,400 –3,300 m asl. Remarks: Not seen in recent years, probably very endangered or extinct.
