Callosciurus caniceps (Gray 1842) [Callosciurus] caniceps (Gray 1842), Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., ser. 1, 10: 263. Type Locality: "Bhotan." Restricted by Robinson and Kloss (1918 a:206) to N Tenasserim, Burma. Vernacular Names: Gray-bellied Squirrel. Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc). Discussion: Revised by Moore and Tate (1965), and subsequently by Corbet and Hill (1992).
