Auswertung der HPC.NRW Nutzendenbefragung (2022)

Abstract

Zwischen Juli und September 2022 wurde eine Nutzendenbefragung an allen HPC.NRW Standorten mit insgesamt etwa 341 Teilnehmenden durchgeführt. High-Performance Computing (HPC) wird als elementarer Bestandteil für Forschung und Entwicklung gesehen. Darum ist es wichtig, dass für die betreffenden Nutzendengruppen ausreichend Ressourcen bereitstehen und die Nutzung dieser Ressourcen optimal von technischer Seite betreut wird. Diese Umfrage hat zum Ziel, den Bedarf an HPC-Unterstützung, Software und Schulungen für Anwender in NRW zu untersuchen, damit das HPC.NRW Projekt entsprechend darauf eingehen kann.
