ABSTRACT The Middle Jurassic La Voulte-sur-Rhone Lagerstatte yields fossils with remarkable morphological details. Those depict a highly diversified bathyal palaeocommunity dominated by arthropods. Amongst them, shrimps are very abundant. We hereby redescribe the two most abundant species of shrimps (Dendrobranchiata, Penaeoidea), Aeger brevirostris Van Straelen, 1923 (Aegeridae), and Archeosolenocera straeleni Carriol & Riou, 1991 (Solenoceridae). This leads us to consider Antrimpos secretaniae Carriol & Riou, 1991 as a junior synonym of A. straeleni. The latter is the only fossil representative of its family.
