Une nouvelle espece de Nouvelle-Caledonie, Dendrobium veillonii M. Pignal, sp. nov. est decrite et illustree. Les caracteres morphologiques distinguant le nouveau taxon des especes apparentees, D. pectinatum Finet, D. crassicaule Schltr. et D. cleistogamum Schltr., sont presentes. Son statut UICN de conservation est propose. Une cle d'identification est donnee pour la section Kinetochilus Schltr. Les lectotypes sont designes pour D. cleistogamum, D. crassicaule et D. pectinatum. L'architecture de la section Kinetochilus Schltr. est analysee sur la base de D. veillonii M. Pignal, sp. nov.
