NARRATIVE RESEARCH IN THE PRACTICUM OF MAGISTERY A THROUGH TEACHER MICRO-STORIES: THE MONTSE STORY

Abstract

This article has two parts. In the first one, and in the context of a project on narrative research, we describe and justify the syllabus of the course: Practicum II, as teachers´ initial training. In the second part, Montse´s short story when she was still in kindergarten are told and interpreted. The narrative recreates three significant moments in Montse’s life: her time in pre-school and primary school, her experience as she began her teacher training, and her reflections on everything surrounding her student teaching. In the final discussion we highlight the consequences that this formative model has had on Montse´s case and the possibilities that itopens in the narrative research.
