Abstract

ABSTRACTS: In December 2014, IMARPE Santa Rosa, characterized commercial invertebrate banks and artisanal fishing areas along the coast of the Lambayeque Region and the islands of Lobos de Tierra and Lobos de Afuera. In the littoral of Lambayeque, natural banks of three species of commercial marine invertebrates were determined: bean clam (Donax obesulus), purple stone crab (Platyxanthus orbignyi) and octopus (Octopus mimus). In the island of Lobos de Tierra, the natural banks were of Peruvian scallop (Argopecten purpuratus), fine shell (Transennella pannosa), snail bursa (Crossata ventricosa) and octopus; in the islands of Lobos de Afuera: octopus and ball snail (Malea ringens). According to the values of temperature, dissolved oxygen and salinity, cold coastal waters (CCW) predominated throughout the coastal sampling area. On Lobos de Tierra island the sea surface temperature varied between 17.6 and 20.6 °C; in the Lobos de Afuera islands fluctuated between 17.2 and 21.5 °C and were within the CCW values.

En diciembre 2014, el IMARPE Santa Rosa caracterizó bancos de invertebrados comerciales y áreas de pesca artesanal en el litoral de la Región Lambayeque y de las islas Lobos de Tierra y Lobos de Afuera. En el litoral de Lambayeque se determinó bancos naturales de tres especies de invertebrados comerciales: palabritas (Donax obesulus), cangrejo violáceo (Platyxanthus orbignyi) y pulpo (Octopus mimus). En la isla Lobos de Tierra, los bancos naturales fueron de concha de abanico (Argopecten purpuratus), concha fina (Transennella pannosa), caracol bursa (Crossata ventricosa) y pulpo; en las islas Lobos de Afuera: pulpo y caracol bola (Malea ringens). De acuerdo a los valores de temperatura, oxígeno disuelto y salinidad, las aguas costeras frías (ACF) predominaron en toda el área de muestreo del litoral; en la isla Lobos de Tierra la temperatura superficial del mar varió entre 17,6 y 20,6 °C; en las islas Lobos de Afuera entre 17,2 y 21,5 °C encontrándose dentro de los valores de ACF.
