Caracterización de bancos naturales de invertebrados marinos comerciales y áreas de pesca artesanal. Región Lambayeque, Perú. Junio 2014

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The IMARPE Santa Rosa in June 2014, characterized commercial banks of invertebrates and areas of coastal artisanal fisheries (intertidal and subtidal) of Lambayeque and of the islands of Lobos de Tierra and Lobos de Afuera. In Lobos de Tierra island, 11 banks of benthic resources were determined: 3 in rocky bottom and 8 in sandy bottom. In the Lobos de Afuera islands, 2 natural banks were determined: 1 in sandy substrate and 1 in rocky substrate. The commercial invertebrates of the Lobos de Tierra Island were Argopecten purpuratus, Transennella pannosa, Semele corrugata, Chione peruviana, Thaisella chocolata, Crossata ventricosa, Hexaplex regius, H. radix, Fusinus dupetitthouarsi, Malea ringens and Octopus mimus; on the islands of Lobos de Afuera were O. mimus, M. ringens and Fusinus panamensis. In the vicinity of the coastal border (depths less than 50 fathoms) and more than 2 nm away from the coastal edge artisanal fishing captures invertebrates and fish. The average sea surface temperature around Lobos de Tierra Island was 22.0 ° C and Lobos de Afuera was 23.4 ° C.
