Abstract

O último romance juvenil de Alice Vieira, Meia Hora para Mudar a minha Vida (2010), seguindo uma construção ideotemática e recorrendo a mecanismos discursivos já conhecidos de outras obras da autora, ficcionaliza tópicos tão actuais como a infância/adolescência ou o crescimento, a família e o (des)amparo afectivo. No presente comentário, procura analisar-se as singularidades desta narrativa centrada na vida de Branca-a-Brava, uma jovem de 16 anos que conta a sua própria história, um relato acessível e coloquial, que não deixa de incluir subtis apontamentos de crítica social.
