Abstract

The present project of degree, had as a general purpose and objective to identify the elements present in the construction of a Center of habilitation and functional rehabilitation for 150 children of 1-12 years, with cognitive difficulty in the municipality of Floridablanca. To fulfill this objective, a qualitative research with descriptive design was proposed, using information collection techniques and an analysis of the content. The project was developed based on the Theory of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner, where he broadens the field of what intelligence is and proposes that academic brilliance is not everything and defines intelligence as a skill. Having this theory clear, it is necessary to specify that "people with cognitive difficulties have difficulties mainly in the development of linguistic and mathematical intelligence, while in most cases they keep their other intelligences intact."
