Authors: Yepes Pérez, Angélica Patricia;

Abstract

The article presents a reflection on the influence exercised by the dominant discourse in the construction of the official memory in Colombia, from authors of the social sciences that expose an analysis from different perspectives on the social repercussions of official memory. Within the text, the relationship between the discursive practices of power, the media and national identity is constructed and an analysis is made of how this convergence influences the processes of memory construction. Finally, from the context of the post-agreement in Colombia, we reflect on the influence of official memory on politics and leave open a discussion on the socio-cultural repercussions of official memory in Colombian society.
