Abstract

Il saggio ricostruisce il dibattito intorno al concetto di centro storico come si afferma tra gli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta, al fine di contestualizzare le dichiarazioni in materia della commissione Franceschini, passaggio fondamentale per l'affermarsi della disciplina dei beni culturali in Italia. Il testo si focalizza in particolare sul ruolo di Giovanni Astengo e sul concetto di bene culturale ambientale.
