A acústica no ensino fundamental: uma abordagem investigativa utilizando instrumentos musicais

Abstract

Acoustics is the area of Physics that deals with the laws of sound behavior and related wave phenomena. Sounds are present in our daily lives in many ways, indicating the functioning of machines, notifying the receipt of messages, in a conversation, in an orchestra, and in the nature of infinite forms. Based on the importance of sound, we try to contribute to the teaching of acoustics. When it reaches education in public schools in the state of São Paulo, it is known that this topic is treated very superficially on elementary school; the main focus is on sound intensity and its effects on human hearing. With this in mind, this dissertation aims to produce a didactic material using the Investigative Teaching (EI) methodology. Research teaching obtains information about problems, looking for answers in the group through dialogue with teacher monitoring. It is intended to assist the teacher in teaching acoustics, as well as to awaken the student's interest in the relevance of this, especially its relationship with music and its characteristics that allow the application in daily activities.
