Educação dos superdotados: estudo comparativo – Angola e Brasil

Abstract

This is a descriptive study that aimed to establish a parallel about Special Education from the perspective of Inclusive Education, specifically to students with High Ability / Giftedness, in Brazil and Angola. For this, three complementary and independent studies were undertaken, with the bibliographical and documentary survey as methodological design. The first study deals with Education in the Angolan context, its historical process, resulting in attention to gifted students. Study two followed the same methodological design as the first, however, its focus was the Brazilian context. Finally, the third study chose two Brazilian programs to provide specialized services to students with high ability/ giftedness, characterizing both and, subsequently, launching the establishment of proposals for making the Children Identification and Development Program viable, Young People and Adults with High Ability / Giftedness, prepared by the National Institute of Special Education, linked to the Ministry of Education of Angola. From the finding that the student with high ability / giftedness in the Angolan context is not yet identified and served, inside or outside the context of the regular classroom, it is hoped that this work can serve as a source for carrying out such actions in that country
