Abstract

The virtual environment, derived from the digital technology and the internet, takes a definitive seat in contemporary society and influences its actions in the most diverse human activities, such as E-Learning. This type of formal education, which accredits its students for a related professional activity, is used in order to increase the level of qualification of the population in the most diverse areas, including in undergraduate music courses. Musical education advocates a follow-up of the student by the teacher in a face-to-face manner from the beginning, by its practical aspect, as it happens in the teaching of vocal practices. This qualitative study aims to present a digital tool for teaching the contents of vocal practices, focusing on choral singing, for the degrees in music in Brazil in the modality EaD. This tool will be elaborated after surveying and analyzing the curricular matrices of the undergraduate courses of music both for face-to-face and E-Learning modalities in Brazil that have worked for at least three years in the period between 2007 and 2016, regarding the offering of subjects of vocals to the future teachers of the musical area. This study combines bibliographical and documentary research, which will be developed through research on websites and available documentation of the courses in activity.
