Klasik müzikte Polonez ve gelişim süreci

Abstract

Polonaise and Development Process in the Classical MusicLearning the musical art of a country also means getting to know the history, traditions and culture of that country. In this study, the identity of the Polonaise form in classical western music, its openness to improvisation as in the main types of folk dance mentioned in the thesis, the form structure of folk music and the characteristic rhythm structure resulting from its dances are revealed. The connections and common points of dances such as Krakowiak, Mazurka and Polonaise, which are in the categories of Poland's characteristic five national dances and known in classical western music, with other dances in the country and abroad are examined and explained. How the rhythms of Polish music came into being with the stories of the emergence of dances and how they took place in classical western music over time were examined. With the analysis in the third part of this thesis, the development process of the Polonaise form has been discussed with the main examples ranging from local to classical music.
