Being prepared as a master thesis, in the introduction of this work, the significance andaim of the topic has been shown, beside this, thesis plan and related references and studies hasbeen introduced.In the first part of the work, we have analysed the early era of Safavid dynasty andstudied formation and expansion process of Safavid Sect. The national and religious identityof this dynasty is among related researches of this section. In the second part, the history offormation of Safavid State has been explored and the path of transition of Safavid Sect?ssheikhs from spiritual leadership to politic leadership described. In the third part, thechildhood of Ismail Safavid has been narrated firstly and his early activities, the establishmentof state has been treated of. In parallel to the expansion of Safavid State, subjects regarding,Safavid-Sheibanid and Ottoman-Safavid conflicts, Shah Ismail?s efforts towards militaryalliance and mutual economic pursuits in the West and East of the same period has beendescribed in this section. In the last section, the political events of the last ten years of ShahIsmail?s reign, his political personality, poetship, literary environment and his literary impactson the poets following his era have been analysed. Birinci bölümde erken devir Safevî âilesinin geçmisiarastırılmıs, Safeviyye Tarîkatı'nın kurulusu ve gelisim süreci tetkîk edilmistir. Buâilenin millî ve dinî kimliği de bu bölümün tetkîk mevzûları arasındadır. ?kinci bölümdeSafevî Devleti'nin tesekkül tarihinden bahsedilmis ve Safeviyye Tarîkatı seyhlerinin?manevî liderlikten siyasî önderliğe geçis serüveni? anlatılmıstır. Üçüncü bölümde,öncelikle ?smâîl Safevî'nin çocukluk yılları, erken devir faâliyetleri ve devletin tesîsiarastırılmıstır. Safevî Devleti'nin genisleme sürecine paralel olarak, Safevî-Seybanî veOsmanlı-Safevî çatısmaları, aynı günlerde Sah ?smâîl'in doğuda ve batıda yürütmüsolduğu askerî ittifâk ve ticârî ortak arayısları da bu bölümün arastırma konularıarasındadır. Son kısımda Sah ?smâîl iktidârının son on yılı boyunca meydana gelensiyasî olaylar, Sah ?smâîl'in siyasî kisiliği, sâirliği, edebî muhiti ve kendinden sonrakidevirlerde yasamıs olan sâirler üzerinde bırakmıs olduğu edebî tesîrler incelenmistir.Ekler kısmında, konuyla ilgili üç resim ve iki minyatür verilmistir
