ÖZETTezimizin konusu, Mevlânâ Celâleddîn Rûmî'nin Mesnevî Şerîf'inde yer alan, Yahûdi Vezîr ve HIristiyanlar hikâyesinde geçen sembollerin tasavvuf ilmi çerçevesinde incelenmesidir. Bunun için Sarı Abdullah Efendi'nin Mesnevî'nin birinci cildine yazdığı beş ciltlik şerhi olan Cevâhir-i Bevâhir-i Mesnevî adlı eserini, sınırlandırmak açısından merkeze alıp, AhmedAvi Konuk, Tâhirü'l-Mevlevî, Kenan 'nin şerhleri ile yer yer mukayeseli bir şekilde ilerleyip hikâyede geçen sembollerin değerlerini ortaya koymaya çalıştık.Tezimizin önemi, temelde Sarı Abdullah Efendi olmak üzere, Ahmed Avni Konuk, Tâhirü'l-Mevlevî ve Kenan Rifâî'nin hikâyede geçen sembollere bakış açıları tespit edilerek tasavvufî düşünce literatürüne katkı sağlayacak olmasıdır.
SUMMARYThe main aim of this work is to study the symbols in the tale of the Jewish vizier and Christians within the the Mathnawī of Rūmī. In order to draw a boundary for the study Sarı Abdullah Efendi's commentary on the first volüme of the Mathnawī, i. e. Jawāhir-e Bawāhir-e Mathnawī is put into the center of the study and it is compared and contrasted with the commentaries of Ahmed Avni Konuk, Tāhir al-Mawlawī and Kenan Rifāī, trying to reveal the worth of the symbols mentioned in the story.The significance of the present study is that different viewpoints to the aforementioned symbols is to be analysed, especially of Sarı Abdullah Efendi, Ahmed Avni Konuk, Tāhir al-Mawlawī and Kenan Rifāī. And that would be a contribution to the literature of the mystical thought.
