Sociology of religion is about the study of mutual relations between the religion and society. While doing this, sociology of religion benefits from the theoretical studies as well as the practical ones. In this respect, studies made regarding the religious life within the field of the Sociology of religion are quite important as they reflect the existing religious structure. This study regarding the religious life was made in order to contribute to the appearance of the religious life in Turkey. The Termal county of the Yalova city as the research area has a deep rooted structure in terms of history and thermal tourism. Therefore, it is a home to many domestic and foreign tourists ever year. In addition, in order to obtain more reliable results the survey area was limited with the Üvezpınar neighborhood within the county of Termal. According to the results from the survey it was found that religious structure of the region is considerably high. It was observed that Muslim Arabs residing in the region in summers make a positive contribution to the religious structure. In addition, the obtained results were tried to be determined and analysed within the context of the relations of religion-family, religion-education, religion-politics, religion-economy religious life and religiosity.Keywords : Religiosity, Religious Life,Field Research, Survey

Din ve toplum ilişkilerini karşılıklı olarak incelemeyi konu alan din sosyolojisi, bu incelemeleri yaparken teorik çalışmaların yanı sıra pratik çalışmalardan da yararlanmaktadır. Bu bakımdan din sosyolojisi alanında yapılan dini hayat çalışmaları mevcut dini yapıyı yansıtmasından dolayı oldukça önemlidir. Türkiye'nin dini hayatının görünümüne katkı sağlamak için Yalova ili Termal ilçesinde yapılan bu dini hayat çalışmasında araştırma bölgesi, tarihi ve termal turizmi açısından oldukça köklü bir yapıya sahiptir. Dolayısıyla her yıl yerli ve yabancı birçok turiste ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Bunun yanı sıra araştırma alanı, daha güvenilir sonuçlar elde etmek maksadıyla Termal'in Üvezpınar Mahallesiyle sınırlı tutulmuştur. Uygulanan anket sonuçlarına göre bölgenin dini yapısının oldukça yüksek çıktığı tespit edilmiştir. Bölgede yazları ikamet eden Müslüman Araplar'ın bu dini yapıya olumlu katkıda bulundukları gözlemlenmiştir. Bunun yanı sıra elde edilen sonuçlar din-aile, din-eğitim, din-siyaset, dini yaşayış ve dindarlık ilişkileri bağlamında tespit ve tahlil edilmeye çalışılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler : Dindarlık, Dini Hayat, Alan Araştırması, Anket
