Abstract

This thesis is a language study made on the veterinary manuscript Kitāb-ı Maḳbūl der Ḥāl-i Ḫuyūl which is registered with 257/1 in public library department of Ali Emiri medicine faculty. This veterinary manuscript Kitāb-ı Maḳbūl der Ḥāl-i Ḫuyūl is the copy of the veterinary manuscript written by Kadızâde Şeyh Muhammed in the 17th century. This thesis consists of three parts, these are research, text and index. In research part,the writer of the study examines the parts of the study, the copies of the study, dictation and language features of the text. The study's transcription was made in the text part. Punctuations were used and newline was put in order to facilitate to read and to provide content integrity in transcription. Verses, hadiths and Arabic references are given as in Arabic Alphabet. All words and word groups present in the text are given in index part with their meanings.The study's facsimile takes part at the end of study.

Bu tez Millet Kütüphanesinin Ali Emirî Tıp bölümünde 257/1 numarada kayıtlı bulunan Kitāb-ı Maḳbūl der Ḥāl-i Ḫuyūl adlı baytarname üzerine yapılmış bir dil çalışmasıdır. Söz konusu eser Kitāb-ı Maḳbūl der Ḥāl-i Ḫuyūl adıyla XVII. yüzyılda Kadızâde Şeyh Muhammed tarafından kaleme alınmış baytarnamenin bir nüshasıdır.Bu tez; giriş, metin ve sözlük-dizin olmak üzere üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş bölümünde eserin yazarı, eserin bölümleri, eserin nüshaları, eserin imla ve dil özellikleri verilmiştir. Metin bölümünde eserin transkripsiyonu yapılmıştır. Transkripsiyonda okumayı kolaylaştırmak ve anlam bütünlüğünü sağlamak amacıyla noktalama işaretleri kullanılmış, satır başı konulmuştur. Ayet, hadis ve Arapça ibareler metindeki haliyle olduğu gibi verilmiştir. Sözlük-dizin bölümünde metinde geçen bütün kelimelerin, metinde kullanılan anlamı verilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonunda eserin tıpkıbasımı yer almaktadır.
