Abstract

Throughout history, people, not only of this world, to go after death believe in life hereafter feels to make preparations. Desire to stick in the mind of a man after death is an emotion. For this reason, the concept of the cemetery every civilization has been one of the indispensable part of culture.During the dates of both the religious feelings of Muslim Turks as well as artistic value because of concerns have provided cemeteries. Turkish cities, cemeteries are full, so prepared and decorated.The aim of our study, the Ottoman era tomb in the cemetery district of Yalova Pear pieces in terms of reading and analysis of the history of art is to do. The main objective of this thesis is occurring at the end of this study, one of the hidden heritage in the history was to draw people to face the day.

Tarih boyunca insanlar, yalnızca bu dünyanın değil, öldükten sonra gideceğine inandığı ahiret hayatının da hazırlığını yapmakta çok titiz davranmı?tır. Ölümden sonra unutulmamak isteği insana ait bir duygudur. Bu nedenle mezarlık kavramı her medeniyetin vazgeçilmez kültür parçalarından biri olmu?tur.Müslüman Türkler tarihleri boyunca hem dinî duyguları hem de sanat kaygıları nedeniyle mezarlıklara değer vermi?lerdir. Türk ?ehirleri, bu nedenle hazırlanmı? ve süslenmi? mezarlıklarla doludur.Çalı?mamızdaki amacımız, Yalova ili Armutlu ilçesindeki mezarlıkta bulunan Osmanlı dönemine ait mezar ta?larını okumak ve sanat tarihi bakımından tahlilini yapmaktır. Bu çalı?mamızın sonunda ortaya çıkan bu tezin temel hedefi, saklı bulunan tarih mirasımızdan birini daha gün yüzüne çıkartmaktır.
