Mâtürîdî`nin kelam sisteminde Ehl-i Kitap anlayışı

Abstract

?Mâtürîdî'nin Kelâm Sisteminde Ehl-i Kitap Anlayışı? adını taşıyan tezimizde Mâtürîdî'nin Ehl-i kitaba yaklaşımını ve eleştirilerini ortaya koymaya çalıştık.

The thesis that entitled The Concept of Ahl al-Kitab in Maturidi's Kalam System aims to study Maturidi's approach to Ahl al-Kitab and his criticism of them. The primary sources of the current study are Maturidi's two important works, Ta'wilat al-Qur'an and Kitab al-Tawhid.The thesis consists of an introduction and three chapters and a conclusion. Maturidi reviews and criticises Jewish and Christian notions of divinity, prophethood and revelation in the light of rational and traditional proofs and develops basic tenets of tawhidi faith. He argues that for salvation in the coming world it is necessary to believe all the prophets and the books sent by God and this is a natural consequence of belief in Allah.
