Antakya Haçlı Prinkepsliği’nin sonu

Abstract

Crusader State of Antioch is one of the states that were established in East during the I. Crusade that significantly affected Turkish and World history in the political and socio–cultural sense. Beside other Crusade states, Princedom, that tries to sustain its existence among Byzantium and Muslim Turkish and Arabian states in the region, posseses great importance with regard to the history of these states in the region. Crusader State of Antioch was chosen as the subject of the Master thesis considering the rareness of the studies about Crusade History in Turkey. In the research Antioch Princes are dealt with in the order and political events that occured during the periods they prevailed were examined using sources that are in Arabic, Syriac, Armenian and the ancient Greek language and making use of related researches.
