Evlilik süresini etkileyen faktörlerin Cox regresyon ile analizi

Abstract

This practice aims to emphasize how the explanatory variables, which are used inline with the data gathered via the attached questionaire (EK 1), are applied and explainedwith the Cox regression model. The study is composed of 3 chapters. In Chapter 1, the information regarding thebreakdown of the data is explained while Cox regression analysis is run. Chapter 2 is devotedto the general explanation of the subject of the thesis, the Cox regression analysis. Thecircumstances when Cox regression analysis should be used and the difference between Coxregression analysis and multilinear regression analysis is illustrated. Chapter 3 contains astudy, which is conducted to investigate the marriage durations and to expose the risks ofgetting divorced. First general information on marriage and divorce is provided, then severalinformation on research are portrayed. A questionaire, with respect to the informationdiscussed in Chapters 2 and 3, is prepared that will constitute the database to apply the Coxregression analysis later on. The target is achieved with application and collection of thedata. The frequency tables that are driven from the questionaire together with the equationsolutions are displayed in Chapter 3.Finally, in the conclusion part, the results of the Cox regression analysis of thequestionaire, that is employed on married and divorced couples, and the variables that effectthe risk of divorce (in other words the duration of marriage that is researched) are explained.Key Words : Cox Regression
