Abstract

El texto revisa las tradiciones arqueológicas y antropológicas sobre cultura material y los aportes de las investigaciones más significativas en el campo de la historia de la cultura material. El trayecto historiográfico que recorrimos y el escenario que delineamos dan cuenta de un campo fértil al que se busca contribuir a partir del dossier "Historia de la cultura material. Objetos, agencias, procesos". Este proyecto reúne investigaciones cuyo horizonte común es la comprensión de los vínculos entre objetos, grupos sociales e identidades. Desde diferentes contextos espacio-temporales y a partir de fuentes de diverso orden, los textos ahondan en el conocimiento de las dimensiones físicas y tangibles de las cosas, pero, sin detenerse allí, atienden a la multiplicidad de vínculos entre éstas y los sujetos individuales y colectivos que las construyen, las piensan, las comparten, las venden, las compran, las utilizan, las desechan, las recuperan y las exhiben.
