Abstract

Determina la concentración de los hidrocarburos biogénicos en aire en el Bosque Nuboso de la Reserva Biológica Monteverde, Costa Rica. Se implementó la metodología analítica para la determinación de las concentraciones de hidrocarburos biogénicos en aire, utilizando como sitio de muestreo los cuatro puntos seleccionados dentro del área abierta al público de la reserva. Los resultados obtenidos servirán como base para la determinación de las concentraciones de los aerosoles orgánicos, que funcionan como núcleos de condensación y juegan un papel determinante en la formación de las nubes.

Determines the concentration of biogenic hydrocarbons in air in the Cloud Forest of the Monteverde Biological Reserve, Costa Rica. The analytical methodology was implemented to determine the concentrations of biogenic hydrocarbons in air, using the four points selected within the area open to the public of the reserve as a sampling site. The results obtained will serve as a basis for determining the concentrations of organic aerosols, which function as nuclei of condensation and play a determining role in the formation of clouds.
