Abstract

ABSTRACT In this final degree project, it is carried out an analysis of educational experiences in which social theatre is at the service of intervention proposals that are recognized like promoters of democracy, inclusion and social justice. The theoretical foundation of this paper, provides an overview of the pedagogical thought of Paulo Freire and the social approach to the theatre of Augusto Boal to reveal the intersection of its main contributions, the Pedagogy and the Theatre of the Oppressed. Deepening in the Theatre of the Oppressed, particularly in the practice of Image Theatre and Forum Theatre, an analysis of six practical experiences is made from an analysis template developed in the framework of this TFG, which aspires to be useful for future research. As a result of the theoretical review and the experience analysis conducted, the Theatre of the Oppressed is presented as an educational tool which promotes social justice, ally of educational models like inclusive education, which in the school context should be reviewed, to give voice to students, increase participation and walk to schools who interrogate about the barriers and mechanisms of oppression that prevent everyone feel part, learn and participate in the educational process.
